Film club: Sweet Sixteen
18 certificate
The IWCA is trying out the idea of an evening Film Club where classic films—old and new—will be re-aired on the big screen. If there is a genuine demand for
this then the IWCA is willing to set it up and run it.
As a pilot screening we will be showing Ken Loach’s Sweet Sixteen—a sympathetic, uncompromising, portrayal of a teenager drawn into the murky world of
organised crime on a housing estate in the west of Scotland.
If you support the Film Club idea and would like to see it up and running, but are unable to make this screening, please let us know.
